The Merkur 25C is a long handle open comb double edge safety razor designed for efficient shaving of thicker beard growth and longer facial or body hair. Made in Solingen, Germany, the 25C combines Merkur’s traditional open comb shaving performance with added handle length for greater reach, leverage, and control.
The open comb design allows hair and shaving lather to flow directly toward the blade, helping prevent clogging during shaving. This makes the 25C especially well suited for wet shavers with heavier beard growth, less frequent shaving routines, or longer hair that can overwhelm cartridge razors.
