KLIPETTE Use, Care & Cleaning Guide

Thank you for choosing the KLIPETTE Ear & Nose Hair Trimmer.

The KLIPETTE is a precision-crafted manual nose and ear hair trimmer made from durable stainless steel in the USA. Unlike battery-powered trimmers, the KLIPETTE uses a simple hand-operated rotary cutting system that never requires batteries, charging, or replacement blades.

With proper care and occasional cleaning, your KLIPETTE can provide many years of reliable service.

How the KLIPETTE Works

The KLIPETTE features a precision rotary cutting head. As you rotate the handles between your thumb and forefinger, the internal cutting blades safely trim hairs that enter the cutting slots.

The rounded cutting head is designed to trim unwanted nose and ear hair without pulling or tugging when used properly.

Its compact, battery-free design makes it ideal for both home use and travel.

How to Use the KLIPETTE

Trimming Nose Hair

  1. Make sure the trimmer is clean before use.
  2. Hold the handles between your thumb and forefinger.
  3. Insert only the rounded cutting head into the entrance of the nostril. Do not insert deeply.
  4. Rotate the handles back and forth while gently moving the trimmer around the inside edge of the nostril.
  5. Repeat on the opposite nostril.

Tip: Nose hair serves an important purpose by filtering dust and airborne particles. Trim only the visible hairs extending beyond the nostril rather than removing all nose hair.

Trimming Ear Hair

  1. Insert only the rounded cutting head just inside the outer ear opening.
  2. Rotate the handles while gently moving the trimmer around the entrance of the ear canal.
  3. Do not insert the trimmer deeply into the ear canal.

Cleaning After Each Use

Cleaning your KLIPETTE after every use helps ensure smooth performance.

  1. Rinse the cutting head under warm running water.
  2. Rotate the handles while rinsing to flush away trimmed hairs.
  3. Shake off excess water.
  4. Allow the trimmer to air dry before storing.

Periodic Deep Cleaning

For best long-term performance, occasionally disassemble and clean the cutting head.

  1. Remove the center screw.
  2. Carefully separate the cutting components.
  3. Wash each part with warm water and mild soap.
  4. Dry all components thoroughly.
  5. Apply a very small drop of light household or sewing machine oil to the moving surfaces if desired.
  6. Reassemble and tighten the screw securely without overtightening.

Care Tips

To keep your KLIPETTE performing at its best:

  • Clean after each use.
  • Dry thoroughly before storing.
  • Store in a clean, dry location.
  • Avoid dropping the trimmer on hard surfaces.
  • Occasionally lubricate the moving parts if operation becomes less smooth.
